PETG CF 3D printing service
PETG CF is PETG loaded with chopped carbon fibre: the same chemical resistance and the same easy printing as PETG, with much less flex and far less warping on long flat geometry. It is the sensible upgrade when a PETG bracket holds its shape at rest but bends under load, because the fibre stiffens the part without changing how it behaves against water or cleaning agents. The surface comes out matte and slightly textured rather than glossy, which hides layer lines.

What PETG CF is good for
- Structural brackets and mounts
- Drone and RC parts
- Jigs that must not flex
- Long flat parts that warp in plain PETG
What PETG CF is the wrong choice for
- Parts that need to bend rather than break
- Fine cosmetic detail
- Transparent or glossy finishes
The long-form guide, with design rules and the alternatives side by side: PETG CF 3D printing, explained.
Designing for PETG CF
- Pick it over plain PETG when the failure you are designing against is deflection rather than fracture. Fibre buys stiffness and costs toughness, in that order.
- It is abrasive and prints slower than plain PETG. That shows up in the lead time on a large order rather than in the price of one part.

What this page does not claim
There is no tolerance figure and no strength figure for PETG CF on this page. A printed part does not have the properties of the spool it came from, and this shop has not measured its own, so publishing a number lifted from a filament data sheet would be publishing somebody else's result as ours. What is missing and why is set out under design rules, and where a part needs one of those figures it is measured on a real printed sample rather than quoted from a table.
